TCCM Welcomes the Adoption of the WSIS+20 Outcome Document

(22 Dec 2025)

On 18 December 2025, members of the global technical community (TCCM[*1]) that have been actively engaged in the review process of the WSIS+20 welcomed its adoption by consensus at the United Nations General Assembly[*2]. They also expressed their appreciation to the co-facilitators and all those involved in leading a transparent and inclusive process.

The TCCM highly values the fact that the Outcome Document[*3] reaffirms the importance of multistakeholder Internet governance, strengthens the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) and its sustainability, and confirms the continued relevance of the WSIS Action Lines.

JPRS has worked together with members of global technical community to contribute to the WSIS+20 review process especially on stakeholder open consultations. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the TCCM core members that have played a central role in the development of the inputs during the review process.

JPRS will continue to contribute to efforts that help ensure the Internet remains open, free, global, secure, resilient, and interoperable for all.
