JPRS Submitted Joint Opinion with world technical community in the Public Consultation for the WSIS+20
On 10 June 2025 (UTC), JPRS, together with members of the global technical community (TCCM[*1]), submitted a joint statement to the informal stakeholder consultation[*2] convened by the United Nations as a part of the WSIS+20 process.
The statement emphasized the continued importance of the multistakeholder model in bridging digital divides and supporting the development of an open, secure, and inclusive Internet. It further urged member states to ensure an open and inclusive WSIS+20 review process, strengthen and institutionalize the IGF, avoid duplicating governance efforts, and support broader participation through existing mechanisms.
