Hirofumi Hotta of JPRS Appointed as a Liaison to the ICANN Customer Standing Committee (CSC)

Hirofumi Hotta (a.k.a. Hiro Hotta) of JPRS was appointed as a liaison to the ICANN Customer Standing Committee (CSC) by the Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC).

The CSC is a standing committee that is responsible for ensuring the satisfactory performance of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) naming function performed by Public Technical Identifier (PTI) which is an affiliate of ICANN.

RSSAC advises the ICANN Board and community on matters relating to the operation of the Root Server System. It appoints its primary and alternate liaisons to the CSC to contribute to CSC's activities using their expertise.

Hotta was appointed by RSSAC as a primary liaison to the CSC through RSSAC's selection process. Hotta's term as a CSC liaison will run for two years from 1 October 2024.

JPRS will continue to contribute to the global Internet community.
