Completion of BIND 10 Initial Development Program

On January 30th (PST), 2014, Internet Systems Consortium, Inc. (ISC) has made an announcement about the completion of BIND 10 initial development program. ISC is the company responsible to the development of BIND 10.

JPRS had been participating to the project from its beginning, by providing the development staff as well as funding.

The project was supported by JPRS and other key sponsors, mainly TLD registries, and had provided collaborative effort in the development. The result of the initial development program of BIND 10 is a production release of an authoritative nameserver software as BIND 10 1.1.0.

The development of the BIND 10 will be continued by ISC with the feedback from the broad users.
